The Walking Dead: Book Two pages 61-90

Finally, Rick arrives at his destination: Shane's grave.  He speaks to Shane a bit until after a few moments, Shane's zombie arises from within the grave.  Rick realizes that now, anyone can come back after death as a zombie, even if they were not bitten.  Rick goes to talk to Shane, saying how Rick was a good man, but Shane wasn't, and that he had to do the right thing.  Rick shoots Shane's zombie in the head, refuses to rebury him, and takes his leave.

Back at the prison, Hershel is looking for Rachel and Susie, who had gone to the barber area to get their hair cut.  He figures they're hiding, and doesn't appreciate the practical joke.  When he finally finds the barber room, he prepares a lecture, only to find the decapitated bodies of Rachel and Susie on the floor.  Maggie makes her way to the room and finds Hershel knelt down near the girls' bodies, and as she arrives, the girls start to make groaning sounds; they have become zombies, too.

Andrea and Glenn try to fight off the zombies that have horded around Tyreese, but it's too late.  They have him surrounded and it's no use.  They head back to the group to inform them of what happened.

After everyone has found out about the beheading of Rachel and Susie, they immediately blame the inmates who they are living with.  Lori takes the most severe action, yelling at the prisoners and locking them up in cells.  Dexter seems unaware of what happened, but Lori doesn't believe him.

Rick arrives at the prison and is informed of the deaths of Rachel, Susie, and Tyreese.  He is in denial of Tyreese's death since no one had confirmation that he is actually dead, so he decides that they should go back to the area to see if he is.  Everyone is surprised by a very improbably sight: Tyreese is sitting in the corner of the room, alive and covered with blood.

The next morning, Andrea is doing some laundry, when Thomas, the prisoner arrested for tax fraud, walks in.  She explains she's drying some clothes, and asks if he wants to help.  He declines, and when she asks why he went there, he says, "So I could cut off your head."  Andrea slaps him in the face and tries to escape, but he pushes her to the ground and whacks her in the face with her own gun.  He throws it away and stands over her, getting prepared to cut off her head.
