The Walking Dead: Book Two pages 211-240

Out in the farm, Hershel and Axel have gotten past their differences and Hershel is teaching Axel how to farm.  Hershel tells him how much he appreciates his effort.  They talk about the zombies, what their lives must have been like, what their job was before they died.

Lori and Carl are eating breakfast in the cafeteria, and Michonne walks in.  Lori invites her to join them, since they haven't spoken since Michonne joined the group.  Lori asks if Michonne had kids.  She did, two girls.  She also had a boyfriend, parents, siblings, and everything else that used to be normal.  Rick walks in and asks them for a favor.  Ever since Carol and Tyreese broke up, Carol hasn't been acting like herself, and Rick thought they could try to talk her through it.  Michonne declines, saying she has to go, but Lori goes with Rick, leaving Glenn and Maggie to watch Carl.  When Rick and Lori get to Carol's cell, they are shocked by the sight before them: Carol is on the ground, her wrist bleeding.

Tyreese is moving his things into a new cell, and Michonne walks in.  She tells him he should let her know if he needs company, but Tyreese is angry with her.  He thought he and Carol had something special, but Michonne ruined it.  Michonne argues that he never put up a fight and kisses him.  As Rick is walking in the cell, about to tell Tyreese what happened, he notices them kissing.  He is instantly furious, and yells at Tyreese for it.  He says it's Tyreese's fault that Carol slit her wrists and that she is dying because of him.  Tyreese fights back, saying he didn't do it on purpose, and throws Rick to the ground.  Rick tells him that everyone is already ready to die, and the one thing they need to do it is an excuse.  He finally pushes Tyreese over the edge by saying if Carol dies, it would be his fault.  Tyreese punches Rick in the face.  He continues punching him and then turns away, crying, saying he didn't kill her.  Glenn and Maggie hear the arguing from another room and try to break it up, but they don't care.  Tyreese goes on to call Rick a murderer for killing Dexter and that he has a bloodlust for cutting off Allen's leg.  They continue fighting, throwing punches at each other's faces until Rick is sent over the railing by one final punch from Tyreese.  Tyreese jumps down to the floor to see if Rick is okay, but Rick kicks him in the face, saying Tyreese tried to kill him.  Tyreese explains he blacked out and fell over, but Rick doesn't believe him.
